The Tour of Britain, the UK’s biggest professional cycle race and largest free-to-spectate live sporting event is returning for a second year to delight spectators in Norfolk, on Saturday 17th September. In 2010 the event drew an estimated 130,000 to the roadside in Norfolk and 120,000 people in Suffolk.
A Tour of Britain Schools Pack is available to every school in Norfolk. The pack contains lots of information about the Tour and suggestions of ways in which schools can get involved. It also contains ideas for topic work linking to subject areas.
The schools pack is now available on the website www.tourofbritain.norfolk.gov.uk
